There are more than a handful of websites that one can find out about new DVD releases. However, the one I find particularly useful is a place that also rents them, it's Hollywood Video. That's because they have something called a "New Release Wall". Check it out here.
Sony is releasing this in the USA, the Walkman NW-A829, with 16GB of memory. Also, it plays .mp3/WMA/HE-AAC/ATRAC AND H.264/mp4 videos! For more details and photos click here.

One of the really cool things we can now do with .MP3 files is add the album or CD cover ART or IMAGE directly into the file. To make sure that it's really there, however, in Windows Media Player 11 do a right click (in Library view) on the song's title; then choose "Advanced Tag Editor" and the tab for pictures. If it's there you should see something like the picture above. Notice too, that there is a tab for Lyrics!

Wow. So sad here. I was at Costco today and the price of this HD-DVD player (HDD3 from Toshiba) is selling for $80 - a huge price drop. Too bad that's not the price for Blu-Ray DVD Players. What's actually sad for me, is that I preferred the HD-DVD format because it was pretty stable. Now to have a DVD in high-def it's dealing with more DISC freezes, firmware updates, etc.

I read that lately hackers are using search engine results to infect computers with a virus. Guess what? I was searching for something and my AVG Antivirus tells me what's up when I clicked on a link. Something that I've been figuring out over the last several years is how to save my receipts for things that I purchase. Do I save my images as .JPGs or .TIFFs or .PDFs?
This looks like it would be fun. It's a little 5 megapixel camera that you can mount to a part of you (try your helmet!) and shoot the action. Recordings are saved to an SD card. It uses batteries, and you can find out more here.
